We had a great trip with David!! Weather was cold and cloudy but he was able to find the fish and keep us catching. David knows Lake Ray Roberts very well. I highly recommend.

Guide David knew where all the hot spots were during my trip on the lake. He taught me how to cast out an open face reel. He also taught me how to properly filet my fish that I had caught that afternoon. Guide david also showed lots of patience with someone who wasn't all that knowledgeable.

David is an awesome guide! We caught a ton of fish and had a great time. I highly recommend his services.

We went out fishing with David in July of 2020. He knew where to go to catch fish. Three of us caught a load of sand bass then when that slowed down he took us crappie fishing and again we caught more fish! He is fun, knowledgeable and fun to be around. When we were changing from sand bass to crappie, he already had those rigs ready to go and handed us different rods and reels so we lost no time in making that switch. I will be looking him up again to do some more fishing this summer!

David was an awesome guide that is full of knowledge and passion for his work. We went to lake Ray Roberts close to Denton tx and had a blast. He provided all the equipment, bait and things I didn't even think of.

We had an amazing time! We took our grandson on this trip in hopes that he would catch some fish, David did not disappoint! We caught a bunch of fish! David is a great guide, we highly recommend him. We will definitely go out again!

We went for an evening fishing trip with Captain David and had a blast! Very personable, knowledgeable, and took the time to show us some things we didn't know. Truly enjoyed ourselves! We will most definitely be scheduling another trip. We highly recommend Captain David's fishing charters!

We spent a Perfect day with David. He found lots of fish by moving around to find the best places and all five us us 8 to 70 caught lots of fish. David was very good with the children and took care of the three grandchildren so we could fish also. He cleaned our catch! I would highly recommend him for your grandchildren or adults, he is great!

David with TFA Guide Service was awesome! He took my wife and I out to catch some sand bass and it was a blast. He showed us a few different ways to successfully catch them and I was even able to use my fly rod. Will definitely do this trip again.

If you were on or close to the lake on the 12th of September those kids yelling and going crazy were my grandsons. My two grandsons their dad and myself sacked up the sand bass and a dozen or so nice catfish. David was a great guide and so good with the boys ages 5 and 8. From the first cast until the last it was non-stop, what a blast. We will be back

4/18/22 Lake Ray Roberts: Great experience fishing with David! I went with my father and uncle. David was a great educator and we enjoyed our entire time with him on the water. I would highly recommend him again. When I come back into town, I will be using TFA again. 5/5 stars!

Four friends got to have a great day of fishing and making memories. David worked hard at getting us and keeping us on fish. Good equipment, nice boat and a great attitude. We're looking forward to the fish fry (when the weather cools off)

Had a great time fishing with David at TFA Guide Service on 11/12/2022. David is an amazing guide with lot of experience and know what he is doing. He had everything we need during our fishing trip like snacks/all fishing gear and also extra weather winter jacket which came very handy during our trip (it was chilli below 40 as we started early am trip). Highly recommended. Caught our limit of 75 sand bass within 3 HR. Thank you David for Amazing Fishing Trip and will plan another Trip again soon.

Wife booked Captain David for my 50th birthday fishing trip and it was fantastic. We caught our limit of 125 sand bass and several catfish. David was an excellent guide and helped a so-so fisherman like me have a ton of fun catching fish. Very memorable day and would highly recommend!

Took my whole family out with TFA. We all had the best time. The guide is a great teacher of how to catch the fish, how he finds the fish, what they are biting on and much more. The captain David and was super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. Didn't take long for me to reach my fish limit! Scenery was amazing, vibes were great, and the whole experience was something I'll be talking about for a long time. If you're thinking about booking a trip - just do it. You won't regret it! What a great on Lake Ray Roberts with David Hagler and TFA Fishing Guide Service! My husband and I caught a cooler full of White Bass and Blue Cat! Couldn't ask for a better day of fishing! David is a great guy and knows this lake very well! He has the right rigs for whatever you want to fish for! We worked him hard, and he was always smiling! Thank you David for a very memorable day! David was great and very knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of Crappie the first day, and Blue Cat and more Crappie the second day even after a big storm came through over night. Great experience and great person, even gave us tips and tricks on the fish finder for our personal trips back home!
